Srinagar, Apr 17 (KNS): A 70-year old Covid-19 patient died at JVC SKIMS Bemina on Friday reached the death toll of Covid-19 patients in J&K to 5.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Medical Superintendent JVC SKIMS, Bemina, Dr Shafa Deva said that a 70-year old man from Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district was admitted in the hospital earlier this month after being tested positive.
She said the elderly patient was instantly taken to medical facility on April 2 for further investigation and monitoring but today morning he could not recuperate and succumbed.
It is pertinent to mention that earlier four persons died of Covid-19 pandemic in Kashmir region and one from Jammu’s Udhampur district. (KNS)
