Srinagar March 06 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party youth leader Arif Laigaroo has condemned ED summon to his party chief Mehbooba Mufti and said these tactics won’t break their resolve to represent the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Using  ED to settle scores shows their frustration,” Laigaroo said adding that such tactics won’t help the government of India to achieve something substantial.

 “The ED action against Mehbooba Mufti seems unambiguously coercive,” he said adding that the timing is conspicuous.  “They are trying to silence her.”

As per the statement issued to news agency-kashmir news service (KNS): Laigaroo said GOI should understand that in the context of the hard policy that they are pursuing the dividing line between law of the land and vendetta has vanished,

The PDP said that present dispensation must realize the consequences of witch-hunting and intimidation. “They must desist from all this,” he said. “ It won’t  break our resolve from representing the true aspirations of people of J&K.”(KNS)
