ED’s move “highly unacceptable”; would be resisted all of us together: Tarigami

Srinagar, Dec 19 (KNS): CPI(M) leader and a constituent of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami strongly reacted over the attachment of property of Dr Farooq in an alleged J&K cricket scam, saying the move is “highly unacceptable” and “will be resisted all of us together”.
Speaking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Tarigami termed the attachment of property of NC patron Dr Farooq Abdullah by Enforcement Directorate (ED) in an alleged Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association scam “highly unacceptable”.
He said New Delhi is trying to victimize regional political leadership at a time when polls are going on. “New Delhi and J&K administration seems disturbed with the participation of PAGD and common masses into DDC polls. They are trying to victimize the political parties who are part of PAGD at a time when have undertaken a big political exercise”, Tarigami said.
To a query, Tarigami said that the development would be discussed and will be resisted all of us together.
“I feel Dr Farooq will surely approach court to contest the allegation leveled by Enforcement Directorate”, he added. (KNS)
