Drug peddlers arrested in B’la charas recovered vehicle sized

Baramulla 26 July: Baramulla police on Sunday claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers and have recovered charas from their possession in Sheeri area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to police statement issued to KNS reads, In its constant endeavour to make district Baramulla drug free, Today Police station Sheeri claimed to have arrested two drug-paddlers and recovered Charas from the vehicle driven by One of them in Sheeri area of North kashmir's District Baramulla.
Police party of Police Station Sheeri arrested two local drug peddler Name with Held and recorded Chars from there possession.
An Acting on Specific information JK police Headed By SHO Sheeri laid Naka at Gantamulla,During Checking police party apprehended them and upon the search, intermediate quantity of Charas was recovered from there possession.
In this connection FIR No.40/2020 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police station Sheeri and investigation taken up.

SHO Sheeri Said JK Police will continue its offensive against the drug peddlers/Dealers in order to save the young generation from the menace of drug abuse.
Meanwhile People of cross section appreciated Station House officer Sheeri Sajad Ahmad,And appealed to the parents to keep a close watch on the activities of their wards so that they do not get influenced and entangled in vicious circle of drug peddlers. (KNS)
