Awantipora, September 13:(KNS) Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, the Awantipora Police party of Police Post Reshipora on Naka duty arrested one drug peddler at village Beighpora when the said person was moving in suspicious circumstances at Beighpora Crossing.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Ghulam Nabi Wani resident of Beighpora Awantipora.

10 Kgs of contraband substances Poppy Straw was recovered from the possession of arrested person.

Case FIR Number 123/2020 under relevant sections of NDPS act stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.

General Public of Pampore,Awantpora, Tral and Khrew are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in neighborhood area. Persons found indulging in drug peddlers will be dealt strictly under law.(KNS)
