25 June 2020 (KNS)Residents of Drangbal area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla town on Thursday complained that they are without potable drinking water, since last couple of days.
A local told to KNS that there has been a severe shortage of drinking water in Darangabal area of Baramulla for the last four days due to which there has been an uproar in the area and people are being forced to use unsafe water from Jhelum and streams. He further said that they have not received a single drop of drinking water for the last four days due to which they are facing severe difficulties in obtaining drinking water. When KNS contacted Executive Engineer PHE Baramulla Abdul Qayoom Chaudhry, he said that he would take steps to resolve their grievances immediately and water supply in the area would be restored soon, he said.(KNS)
