Party MP’s, functionaries also pay tributes, pray for peace to his soul


Srinagar, 06 July (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah paid glowing tributes to Former MLA Kulgam, Advocate Ghulam Nabi Dar on his 14th death anniversary; Dar had lost his life in a grenade blast at Kulgam in July 2006.
Party president while paying glowing tributes to the late leader said, “An honest politician, an accomplished advocate, Dar Sahib was a sincere soldier of the party. He had dedicated his life for the socio-political emancipation of the downtrodden people of his constituency. He shall be remembered for his industrious and undemanding personality. Politics for him was a medium to serve people, lent voice to people and gave support to the deprived; there is great necessity of such men in public life and politics. On this day I pay my glowing tributes to him. May the Almighty grant him highest place in Jannat.” The statement issued to KNS said.
Party vice president in his message applauded the role played by the Late Dar Sahib in the development of his constituency. “The jinxed fate of our state snatched a committed and an ace political figure from us in his shape. On this day I pay my glowing tributes to him,” he said.
Meanwhile Party General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Party’s Members of Parliament Muhammad Akbar Lone, and (retd) Justice Hasnain Masoodi; Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustufa Kamal, Chief Spokesperson Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Senior leaders Abdul Rahim Rathar, Mohammad Shafi, Mubarak Gul, Ghulam Ahmed Shah, Sakina Itoo, Dr. Bashir Veeri; district President Kulgam Abdul Majeed Bhat Larmi, District President Anantnag Altaf Kaloo, YNC Provincial President Salman Ali Sagar, Sheikh Muhammad Rafi, Safdar Khan, Mushtaq Ahmed have also paid glowing tributes to the late leader and prayed for peace to his soul. Among others other party’s south parent body functionaries, YNC functionaries have also paid glowing tributes to the late leader recounting his immense contribution towards the development of Kulgam.
