Srinagar, 16 July (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr. Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of renowned hotelier Haji Muhammad Shafi Shadad of Welcome Hotel who passed away on Wednesday.
According to the statement issued to KNS reads, the party president and vice president prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in their hour of grief. The duo said the deceased will be remembered for his piety, graciousness. Meanwhile, the Party president also made a phone call to the mournful family and expressed his condolences.
Party’s senior leaders Ali Muhammad Sagar, Nasir Aslam Wani, Mubarak Gul, Muhammad Syed Akhoon, Ghulam Qadir Pardesi have also condoled the demise of Shadad Sahib, prayed for peace to his soul, strength to family to bear the inconsolable loss.
Meanwhile party’s north zone president, Member of Parliament from Baramulla Muhammad Akbar Lone has expressed grief over the demise of noted social activist of Wagoora, Baramulla Ghulam Muhammad Rather. The Member of Parliament has prayed for peace to the soul of deceased, strength to the bereaved family. District President Baramulla Javed Dar, Basharat Bukhari, Mohammad Yaqoob Wani have also expressed grief over his demise and have conveyed their heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family. (KNS)
