Party’s MPS, functionaries visit Pattan, condole with Reyaz Bedar

Srinagar, 22 July:(KNS) Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Wednesday expressed grief over the demise of noted educationist, former President Jamiat-e Ahl-e-Hadees and former chairman of SSM College of education Ghulam Nabi Parray.

Party President and Vice President while extending condolences with the bereaved prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in their hour of grief.

Meanwhile Party President made a phone call to the grief-stricken family and offered condolences to them. He also expressed unison with them in their hour of grief. Among others Party’s General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani have also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of the deceased, prayed for eternal repose to his soul and strength to grief stricken family.

Party President and Vice President have also expressed profound grief over the demise of noted scholar and renowned Naat Khawan Pir Ghulam Nabi Shah of Duroo, Shahabad. The duo prayed for peace to departed and much needed strength to his family members. The duo said that late Shah Sahib was endeared by people for his scholarly disposition and Naatkhawani and will continue to be revered by all in times to come.

Party’s South Zone President Dr. Bashir Veeri, district president Anantnag Altaf Ahmed Kaloo, GM Shah, Imran Nabi Dar, Muhammad Shafi, Syed Tauqeer Ahmed have also condoled the passing away of Ghulam Nabi Shah recounting his service towards the upkeep of Khanqa e Faiz Panah Door, Shahabad.

Meanwhile a delegation of party functionaries including Party’s Members of Parliament Muhammad Akbar Lone and Hasnain Masoodi visited the residence of Party leader Reyaz Bedar at Pattan to condole with him and share his grief on the passing away of his father Ghulam Qadir Bedar. The visiting delegation comprised of senior leaders Mir Saifullah, Javaid Ahmed Dar, Showkat Mir, Irshad Rasool Kar, Khawaja Yaqoob Wani, and Ghulam Hassan Rahi. The functionaries offered Fateh for the deceased and prayed to Almighty to bestow the deceased with highest stations in Jannah. South Zone president Dr Bashir Veeri has also expressed solidarity with Riyaz Bedar on his bereavement. He prayed for peace to departed soul.(KNS)
