Srinagar, 21 September (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr. Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed profound grief over the demise of party’s senior leader and District Vice President Kupwara Haji Wali Muhammad Mir.
The party president and vice president while expressing grief over the demise of veteran party leader prayed for peace to his soul and fortitude to his family, and associates in their hour of bereavement. The duo also highlighted his contribution towards making the party stronger at grassroots level. They also eulogized Wali Sahib’s commitment towards the ideals of Sher-e-Kashmir. The president and vice president said that late Wali Sahib worked day in, day out with dedication, alongside other local leaders for ensuring even handed progress in Kupwara.
Among others Party general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, MP Baramulla Mohammad Akbar Lone, senior leaders Chaudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Mir Saifullah, District President Qaisar Jamsheed Lone, spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar have also extended condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty to bestow highest echelons to the deceased in Jannah. The functionaries have also expressed solidarity with the family and associates of the deceased in their hour of grief.(KNS)
