Doroo Anantnag residents stages protest against administration

Srinagar, June 27 (KNS): Residents of Chandi Mohalla, Buker Check helmet of Doroo area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday staged protest against the authorities for failing to provide them the basic facilities.

According to Kashmir News Service Correspondent the Gujjer and Bakerwals of the area assembled and staged massive protest against the authorities, and said they are being deprived of the basis facilities.
They said that the PMGSY department has started the constriction of a road in the year 2012 but till know now it has not been completed by the department leaving large number of the people to suffer

They said that they have informed the concern department several times regarding the same but noting has been done so far to complete the road.

Nizam U Din a resident of the area told KNS that the villages also lacks the portable drinking water since decades and are being forced to drink the containment water, he also said that have to travel kilometres to fetch the drinking water.

Later on the NC leader Farooq Ahmad Bhat and Local Sarpach visited the spot and assured the protestors that they will took the issue with administration.

Meanwhile when KNS contacted to Executive engineer PHE Division Qaziagund he assured that the problem will be redressed at the earliest (KNS)
