Domicile Law to change the demography of Kashmir, unacceptable: Qayoom Wani

Srinagar, May 19 (KNS): Former EJAC President and civil society member Abdul Qayoom Wani was aghast over the passing of Domicile Law for Kashmir and have demanded immediate revocation.
In a statement issued to KNS Wani said that 5 August 2019 Abrogation of article 370 and 35 A is unconstitutional and has not been accepted by the people of jammu Kashmir. He said that people of JK are being psychologically torched.
Wani said the garb of domicile law Govt of India is hell-bent to change the demography of Jammu and Kashmir at as time when world is in the tragedy of pandemic of Covid 19 and nobody has time to pay attention to the tyranny being done to kashmiris
Kashmir has been a glorious state and by downgrading it to union territory it will not become pandichari or chandigrah. Domicile Law is against the political, economic and social interests of people of j and k.when the whole world has been shaken by covid 19 and all efforts are being made to defeat it but at the same time GOI is busy in issuing ordinances against the interests and aspirations of people of j and k which is totally un acceptable to the people here. Govt of India should release all leaders with dissent voice and should listin to them instead of issuing laws on sub judicious issues.
Otherwise keeping the leaders in jails in and outside Kashmir and changing demography in the garb of domicile like laws in lockdowns , is unfortunate. He also demanded immediate revocation of domicile law. (KNS)
