Pulwama, June 17 (KNS) : District Adminstation Pulwama declares result of online Poetry / Jingle competition organised in view of COVID-19 pandemic. The Online Poetry/ Jingle / song Competition was organised to express solidarity and appreciate the efforts being put in place globally by the healthcare professionals and frontline workers of key departments who have been at forefront in fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The competition witnessed overwhelming response as hundreds of Poems / Jingles were received and subsequently scrutinized by an expert committee constituted in this regard.
As hundreds of school children , Youth , Women and people from different sections of society participated online and produced their creative and emotionally driven poetic ideas , amusing jingles and thrilling songs by submitting online , on the selected themes of the competition which were contextualized regarding the valiant efforts of health care professionals and frontline workers in COVID-19 pandemic along with promoting community sensitivity, community participation , volunteerism ;mindful social distancing and maintenance of proper hygiene.

While speaking on the occasion Deputy commissioner Pulwama said that the initiative witnessed a tremendous response and the best Poems will be complied in a newsletter and shall be distributed to all schools and colleges all across the district . . He added that Administration shall get the best produced Poems ,jingles and songs on the District Administration's Website besides displaying the Original scripts in the digital libraries of all Educational Institutions.
