DGP sanctions financial assistance/medical Relief in favour of SPOs

Jammu, February 24: (KNS) Continuing with its endeavour to provide financial aid to the Special Police Officers (SPOs) at their time of need, Director General of Police, J&K, Shri Dilbag Singh has sanctioned over Rupees 745091 in favour of 35 SPOs to defray the expenses in connection with self treatment or treatment of dependents.

 

Vide PHQ order number 750 of 2021, financial assistance ranging from rupees 10,000 to rupees 50,000 have been sanctioned in favour of 35 SPOs who are engaged at different Police establishments. The financial assistance/medical relief has been given to SPOs to defray the expenses in connection with self treatment or treatment of dependents. The amount has been sanctioned out of SPOs Contributory Fund/Police Pariwar Fund.

 

Financial assistance of rupees 20,000 has also been sanctioned in favour of Constable Shahnawaz Ahmad whose residential house was damaged during a fire accident. The amount has been sanctioned out of Central Police Welfare Fund.

 

Financial assistance and Welfare relief is sanctioned in favour of J&K Police personnel/SPOs to meet the expenses of different natures including self treatment, treatment of dependents, education of wards, self marriage and marriage of wards. (KNS)
