Anantnag, June 20 (KNS): Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag inaugurated COVID-19 Information Management System (MIS) portal. This MIS shall prove very useful for management of Red Zones, Quarantine Centres, testing centres, supply of essential supplies and medicines to red zones, transit camp and traveller management, management of critical patients and pregnant ladies.
The system is almost paperless and latest technology has been used to provide seamless and real time based reporting. Separate user accounts have been created to Red Zone Administrators, all tehsildars, all nodal Officers, BMOs and Chief Medical Officer and district administration.
Presently 135 users shall input the data pertaining to the activities assigned to them. 16 types of reports on real time basis have been made available to the district administration for analysis and action shall be taken accordingly. D istrict Anantnag is the first district having such type of online reporting system. The training to all stake holders including red zone administrators, tehsildars, BMOs shall be completed within next two days.
The portal has been designed and developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC), Anantnag. The inauguration function was attended by both Additional Deputy Commissioners, CMO, Dy, CMO, Medical Superintendent GMC Anantnag, some selected red zone administrators, Nodal Officer Covid-19 control room and DIO/Sr.
Technical Director, NIC Anantnag. Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag lauded the efforts put forth by Nodal Officers and NIC for coming up with such a good system within short time period. (KNS)
