Tral, 09 July (KNS): A dental surgeon of department on Thursday has managed to save a precious life in Aripal tehsil of Tral sub district in South Kashmir.
Sources said that during the intervening night of 8th & 9th July, a local of Aripal namely Muhammad Amin Mir, son of Mohd Ramzan Mir was brought to PHC Aripal in a critical condition, after being attacked and seriously injured by a bear while gaurding his orchards in his locality.
They said that a doctor on duty namely Dr. Sajad Ahmad Kar, who is basically a dental surgeon while seeing his facial trauma condition would have refered him to sub district hospital Tral or any other hospital, but by dint of his capabilities, he has not put him to suffer or loss of blood but has adequately operated & repaired his facial as well as other body wounds.
"With immediate treatment to wounds and repair of his facial, the doctor managed to save the life of patient by not referring him to other hospital that too in odd late hours," sources said.
Reports said that this gesture of said doctor as well as his human being attitude is being lauded and praised by family members & locals of the area. (KNS)
