Urges the JKPSC not waste time under the garb of non-availability of domicile, Covid crisis, etc

 

Srinagar Dec 17:(KNS) The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today lashed out at PSC (Public Service Commission) over withholding the selection of 250 Candidates for their appointment as Medical Officers, including 25 doctors under the garb of not having domicile certificates and Covid-19 crisis, as reported.

In a statement, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed anguish over the functioning of Public Service Commission, which has not been able to release the list of 250 qualified aspirants including 25 Doctors thereby delaying the process of their appointment.

JKPCC has urged the Commission to release the lists, forwarding it to Govt for appointment of qualified aspirants as Medical Officers, as that, process of their appointment has already got delayed due to Covid-19.

Withholding the selections lists “ of whatever nature” is determinantal to the process of appointment aspirants after qualifying their exams and urged the Govt to reform the Commission, for the fact, this prestigious institution deserves to remain as vibrant, as it was mandated to be inorder to ensure that qualified are not made to suffer for no fault of theirs’, JKPCC said.

The Party urged the JKPSC not to waste precious time of aspirants under the garb of not having domicile certificates, as reported or any other reason best known to the Commission and take effective measures to ensure that the qualified aspirants do not face difficulties on account of release of their selection lists, subsequently their adjustments, JKPCC added(KNS)
