Karnah, Sep 09 (KNS): Resident of Surma Padi in border town Karnah are up in arms against the R&B due to delay in the construction of road.
The resident of Surma Padi claimed that they have to travel by foot due to pathetic condition of road due to bad connectivity of the road.
People of the area claimed that the construction work of 1.5 Km road was started in 2018 with 29 one lakh rupees of fund. But after cutting some portion and construction work started by due to slow pace of work the road still in not in a condition to travel.
The native of the village claimed that in these issues they have raised their voice many time in front of administration but what they get are just fake promises. There is a holy tomb of Sayin Fetha Mohammad where people from distant areas travel to get spiritual benefit and those people also have to travel by foot due to non availability of road and patients also have to suffer during visiting the Sub District hospital Tangdar for their routine check up and in emergencies.
Students of the area are also facing the same problems. While taking to the KNS Mohammad Sadeeq and Muneer ahmad Shah the natives of the village raise question on the administration that if they have spend 30 lakhs on the road then why the condition of the road is still pathetic.
They also said that the natives of the village have also meet the SDM Karnah regarding this issue while the SDM Karnah had assured that the grievance will be redressed shortly but still nothing has happend.
While the resident of the village Dhani, Hajitra and Sadhpura, Gabra and Chorkunji also talked with KNS and said that the condition of their roads are not different. While taking to KNS a resident of Gabra Sheikh Shabir Ahmad said the they have removed a blocked in this month by themselves while administration has not took notice on this issue. (KNS)
