Kupwara, June 13 (KNS): District Development Commissioner Kupwara on Saturday placed AE Block Development Office Trehgam under suspenion and attached him to ACD office Kupwara.

An order issued in this regard stated, "Whereas a review meeting of PMAY, delay in MGNERAGA compensation and other parameters was chaired by District Development Commissioner Kupwara on 12.06.2020".

It saif, "Whereas, Shri Sheikh Suhail Ahmad, AE Block Development Office Kupwara was found absent during the said meeting".

"Whereas, the District Development Commissioner, Kupwara has expressed his displeasure over the absence of the said AE and has desired disciplinary action as warranted under law" order reads.

"Keeping in view of above, Shri Sheikh Suhail, AE Block Development office Trehgam is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect and is attached with ACD office Kupwara. Shri Ab Ahad AE Block Kralpora shall look after the work of AE Trehgam during the suspension period of the said AE. Assistant Commissioner Development shall conduct enquiry into the matter and furnish his report to this office within 15 days", it said. (KNS)
