Kupwara, August 27 (KNS): The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg today reviewed progress of works made under Centrally Sponsored Schemes including MGNREGA, 14th F.C, SBM and PMAY(G).
The meeting was informed that under MGNREGA, Rs.28 lakh have been expended on labour component during the current financial year which has generated 5.98 lakh persondays, benefitting 19617 households.
It was also informed that 14,945 works under MGNREGA have been identified under Approved Action Plan at a cost of Rs.29290.63 lakh for all 26 blocks of the district to be executed during this fiscal.
On the occasion, the DDC stressed upon the officers to put their best efforts to improve the developmental scenario of rural areas of the district.
Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, JD Planning, DPO, Executive Engineer REW, BDOs and other concerned attended the meeting. (KNS)
