DDC Ganderbal appeals people for mass participation in B2V3 to register their demands


Ganderbal October 02:(KNS) Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today briefed the media regarding the Jan Abhiyan which concluded today and forthcoming of 3nd phase of “Back to Village’ programme.
Addressing the media, DDC said that during Jan Abhiyan/Awami Muhim, Block Diwas was organized on 16th, 23rd and 30th of September during which people participated enthusiastically and registered their grievances. Most of grievances were resolved onspot by the concerned Departments as per their competence and rest demands raised during the Block Diwas are forwarded to concerned authorities for further course of action, he added.
While briefing on 3rd phase of “Back to Village’ programme the DDC said that the programme is starting from 2nd October which will be launched in all 126 Panchayat Halqas of the district in 3 phases and 42 Panchayat Halqas wil be covered in each phase .The Ist phase shall start from 2nd to 4th October, 2nd phase from 5th to 7th October and 3rd phase from 8th to 10th October, he added.
Meanwhile, the DDC urged the people of the district to participate in 3nd phase of “Back to Village’ programme commencing from 2nd October with same enthusiasm to register their their demands and grievances with Visiting officers as the programme aims at delivering governance at the doorsteps of the people and speeding up developmental scenario in rural areas.
While briefing about activities to be carried during the programme, the DDC informed that different departments shall organise awareness camps to create awareness among the public about the schemes being implemented by their respective departments
so that the benefits reach to the deserving person and shall ensure cent percent Saturation of individual beneficiary schemes.(KNS)
