Budgam February 05 (KNS): Deputy Commissioner Budgam Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza got his first shot of COVID vaccine during inauguration of the 2nd phase of vaccination here today at District Hospital Budgam in presence of GM DIC Budgam, CPO, CMO, Dy. CMO, CDPOs, BMO Budgam and officials of District Office Complex Budgam.

After getting administered with vaccine, the DC said that the vaccination is completely safe and everyone should come forward for vaccination as and when their turn comes up.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that vaccination programme is crucial to win war against COVID-19 Pandemic. Meanwhile DC hailed the efforts of Health Department for being proactive in starting vaccination drive in District.(KNS)
