Darul Khair appeals affluent to help transport Sector,Provides financial assistance to city transporters


Srinagar: July 30 (KNS): Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil(DKMM), expressing deep concern over the deteriorating (economic) situation due to continuous lockdown in view of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, said several sections of the society, especially the transport sector, have suffered heavily as the businesses remain mostly closed.

According to statement issued to KNS reads, to provide some financial relief to this much needy section especially on the occasion of Eid ul Azha ,Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil handed over cheques amounting to Five Lakh (Rs 5 Lakh) to the representatives of five Tata-407 ,mini-bus unions of Srinagar City.

It needs to be mentioned here that due to overall deteriorating situation in Kashmir for the last one year, DKMM has been unable to collect donations or reach out to the financially well-off people (for donations).

In view of the Eid-ul-Adha and the unfortunate prevailing situation, DKMMappeals to the affluent people and NGOs to earn Almighty Allah’s pleasure by extending financial assistance to the needy ,especially the transport sector which has been very badly affected through their representative organisations.
