Ganderbal, Feb 17:(KNS)  A condolence meeting was held in the Department of Convergent Journalism, School of Media Studies, Central University of Kashmir (CUK), at Tulmulla Campus to mourn the demise of the mother of Sr. Assistant Professor at the department, Dr. Asif Khan. The meeting conducted both offline as well as online, was attended by Dean School Media Studies, Prof.  Shahid Rasool, Head of Department Dr. Arif Nazir, Senior Assistant Professors Dr John K. Babu, Dr Nookaraju Bendukurthi, Rashid Maqbool besides staff members and students.   

Prof. Shahid expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Dr. Asif’s mother. In his message, he prayed for peace of the deceased soul and strength for the bereaved family. Dr Arif Nazir also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.   At the culmination of the meeting, special prayers were held and fateha offered for the departed soul.(KNS)
