Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNS) : Suspected militants fired upon on security forces in Lawaypora area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday killing one CRPF personnel and injuring three others.
Speaking to KNS, PRO CRPF, OP Tiwari said,"ASI GD Manga Ram of ECO 73 Battalion's Road Opening Party (ROP) has been killed, while three other injured CRPF personnel have been shifted to 92 Base Army Hospital in Srinagar for treatment."
Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the fleeing militants, they said. More details are emerging.(KNS)
