Srinagar, April 09 (KNS):In wake of covid-19 scare, lockdown has been intensified in Sopore town restricting the public and vehicular completely barring medical exigencies. Nakas have been established on all entry/exit locations to restrict the movement of people.

Speaking over the matter, top police official asserted that the lockdown has been intensified so as to thrawt any community
transmission of the deadly virus. Official claimed that initially huge rush of people at Bank Branches posed a very serious challenge however, the flow of people was regulated area wise in consultation with the bank officials.

A medic while speaking to this correspondent also reiterated that he was stopped at 8 different locations by security personnels while another employee of CAPD deptt also claimed to have been checked at many places inside the town.(KNS)
