Handwara, May 29 (KNS): Covid-19 Management Committee Mawer Handwara headed by Chairman Block Development Council Mawer Tahir Ahmad Mir on Friday visited Teerina along with health officials and collected samples after a covid-19 positive case was detected on Wednesday.

According to reports reached to KNS, health team headed by Nodal Officer Langate Dr Kaiser and Dr Lateef took 25 samples from the primary contacts. At the occasion team carried out fumigation of Sodium Hypochlorite in the area as a precautionary measure.

They urged people to stay indoors, take proper precautions and maintain physical distance to keep the virus under control. They assured people kept into home quarantine that all necessary facilities will be provded to them. (KNS)
