Cousins fighting DDC polls against each other in Rajwar seat of Handwara

Handwara, Nov 23 (KNS): As Jammu and Kashmir is week away from DDC polls, two cousin brothers of north Kashmir’s Handwara have decided to fight against each other in territorial Rajwar seat.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), BJP spokesman Ghulam Mohammad Mir is contesting elections against his cousin brother Mir Suleiman, a joint candidate of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD).
The DDC polls across J&K has stoked a new humor as relatives seemed divided on political lines and are fighting elections against each other.
Notably the duo has fought Panchayat elections against each other in 2018 wherein Mohammad Suleiman Mir was declared winner, who defeated his cousin with huge margin.
The Rajwar seat was considered a hot seat in every election and in current situation many political parties have enlisted their candidates into fray. (KNS)
