Kupwara, June 11 (KNS): Nearly after two months, three positive cases of corona have been found in karnah. Among three the positive cases, two persons belong to Gomel village of Tangdar and the third one a pregnant women is from Tangdar Nard are of karnah.
BMO Tangdar Dr.Farooq Quraishi told to KNS that on Wednesday evening 4955 people were scanned, 34 persons are in home isolation, and 1458 persons are in home quarantine; while as no one is under government quarantine.
He further told that 3297 persons have completed the duration of home quarantine and all the persons who had tested positive before two months have fully recovered.
SDM karnah Dr. Bilal Muhiuddin Bhat (IAS) told KNS that the three persons who have tested positive will be shifted to kupwara, and their contacts will also be tested.
He further told that yesterday 45 persons were scanned and their test samples were taken to srinagar.SDM Karnah has passionately appealed to the people to follow covid- 19 guidelines: Anyone entering Karnah from outside state should not hide the travel history, wear face mask mandatorily, and wash the hands frequently with sanitizer or soap so that coronovirus is completely eliminated from Karnah.(KNS)
