Kulgam, May 16( KNS): A policeman was today killed in a militant atatck in Frisal Yaripora area of Kulgam district of South Kashmir, officials said today

Sources said the deceased Head Constable was performing duties at a Naka point at Frisal area of Yaripora in Kulgam district when militants lobbed a grenade and then started firing indiscriminately.

“The injured policeman was immediately rushed to hospital, but he died on way,” a police source said.

Soon after the incident, manhunt was launched in the area to nab the attackers. (KNS)
