Srinagar August 14:(KNS) The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today strongly condemned the Nowgam Militant attack, describing it as senseless and shameful.

The Party also expressed deep shock over the loss of cops and demanded exemplary punishment to killers.

In a statement to KNS, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Spokesperson strongly condemned the Nowgam militant attack in which two cops Ishfaq Ayoub and Fayaz Ahmad were martyred leaving another cop Mohd Ashraf injured and described the attack as very shameful, inhuman and mindless act.

The Spokesperson expressed deep shock over the loss of cops and said violence and killings cannot be the solution to any problem, Kashmir continues to bleed due to mindless militant attacks, which is very unfortunate and matter of serious concern.

Congress Party shares the grief of the bereaved families and pray for eternal peace to martyred cops, Spokesperson added and also prayed for speedy recovery of injured cop.(KNS)
