Srinagar April 28, (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today drawn the attention of UT Administration to the problems confronting HDF Employee, laying emphasis over creating job policy for them.
The Party also said that HDF employees being paid a paltry monthly salary, in which they are not able to feed their families.
According to statement issued to KNS,the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has urged he UT Administration to look into the grievances of 3200 employees in J&K including Ambulance Drivers who are working under Hospital Development Fund since more than a decade on a paltry monthly salary , while having never been considered for some relief or regularization of their services in the department.
Hospital Development Fund (HDF) employees are working 24x7, Ambulance Drivers are being paid 3000 and some 4000 even after rendering 15 years of services to the department, which is very discriminating and unjustified, PCC said
The UT Administration need to revisit the adjustment policy with regard to HDF employees inorder to ensure that they too get absorbed in the department on permanent basis, the services they are rendering can’t be ignored, Party said.
They (employee) are facing tremendous difficulties on account of paltry salaries, they get from the Health Deptt, resulting in they are not even able to feed their families and urged the Authorities to take measures for their regularization by attaching importance to this genuine issue, JKPCC added.
JKPCC further said that under the current worrying circumstances in wake of Covid 19, the HDF employees are working with great dedication, there services must be regularized in their interest and in the interest of the smooth functioning of Hospitals in J&K, Party said. (KNS)
