Congress observes martyr's day at Srinagar

Srinagar, June 26 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today saluted the Martyred Jawans, who laid down their lives in line of the duty while fighting in Galwan Valley of Ladakh UT against Chinese incursion.
According to statement issued to KNS the Party also questioned the Modi Govt as to why the Jawans were unarmed to fight?
As part of the Nation Wide programme launched by the All India Congress Committee (AICC), The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir, District Presidents of the valley and other Senior Party Leaders in a function organized in Srinagar saluted the Martyred Jawans for their bravery and sacrifices.
Our Jawans laid down their lives while fighting against the Chinese incursion in Galwan Valley of Ladakh UT, they have given their blood for securing our mother land, leaders said.
How they got Martyred, when there was no Chinese incursion and aggression in Galwan valley, they question the Modi Govt?
The Nation would continue to remain indebted to the Martyred Jawans, they said and hit out at the Modi Govt for allowing Chinese Incursion in Galwan Valley and misleading the Nation, which is very unfortunate, deserves condemnation in strongest words.
They expressed great sympathizes with the family of Martyred Jawans and conveyed deepest condolences to them and cautioned the Modi Govt about the ill intentions of the China.
Those who were present in the function included PCC Vice President Haji Abdul Rashid Dr, General Secretary Sruider Singh Channi, District Presidents Haji Farooq Mir, Imtiyaz Parray, Zahid Hussain Jan, Abdul Gani Khan, Abdul Qayoom Shah, Sahil Farooq, Gh. Mohi U Din Bhat, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Farooq Ahmad Bhat and others.
The Leaders also observed two minute silence as a mark of respect to Martyred Jawans. (KNS)
