Congress expresses deep sorrow over the passing away of Veteran Party Leader Adv. Ab. Rehman Dar(EX.MLA)


Srinagar August 4:(KNS) The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today expressed profound grief over the passing away of veteran Party Leader & Ex. MLA Adv. Ab. Rehman Dar, who was a prominent face of the Party in J&K.
Veteran Party Leader was laid to rest at his native place Redwani in District Kulgam, today.
J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir, Former President Peerzada Mohd. Sayed, Former Minister & Senior Leader Taj Mohi U Din, PCC Vice President Mohd Anwar Bhat Ex. Legislators Mohd Amin and Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Senior Leader & Ex. MLC Bashir Ahmad Magrey, Irfan Kullar and various other leaders have expressed deep sorrow over the passing away of Adv. Abdul Rehman Dar, a veteran Congress Leader and Ex. MLA and described his passing away as a great loss to the Party.
Late. Adv. Dar was Member of the Legislative Assembly from 1967 to 1972 and served the Congress Party in different capacities, they said.
Congress Party has lost a dedicated, honest and Loyal Party Leader in the demise of Adv. Dar, who always remained committed to the cause of serving people to the best of his ability, they said.
JKPCC President G.A. Mir described Adv. Dar as a visionary and an upright personality and said the deceased remained committed to the cause of strengthening the Congress Party, besides remained engrossed with Party activities, till his death.
The rank and file of the Party conveyed deepest condolences and share the grief with the bereaved and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.
Congress Leaders also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.(KNS)
