Srinagar December 25:(KNS) J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has denounced thrashing of three local journalists in Baramulla today.
Reacting to the incident of thrashing of journalists by Army in Baramulla on Friday, as reported, JKPCC has termed the incident as very unfortunate and sought action against the responsible personnel.
It was surprising to learn that after inviting journalists to cover Jashn e Baramulla function by Army, three journalists were thrashed which is very disappointing and deserves strong condemnation, PCC said
JKPCC has expressed solidarity with the Journalist fraternity and demanded stern action against the responsible personnel, urging the Army Authorities to ensure that such incidents do not happen in future.(KNS)
