Srinagar, Sep 27 (KNS) Commission Secretary to the Govt. Higher Education Department, Talat Parvez Rohella today visited border town Karnah to take stock of degree college Tanghdar its problems, issues, challenges and their solutions an interactive session was held in Degree college Tanghdar along with the member of civil society, respectable citizens, students and faculty members during the interactive session so many demands were projected by the students staff and by Civil society members Rohella assured the faculty and students of speedy redressal of their problems .
Speaking On that occasion the Secretary Higher Education stressed upon importance of quality education and integration of new education policy parameters with stress on digital learning, creative thinking and employment friendly curriculum reforms.
Principal of GDC Tanghdar Dr. Satwant Sing welcomed the Commissioner/Secretary by presenting him a bouquet.
Later Dr. Parvaiz Ahmad senior Assistant prof. apprised the Commissioner of the existing infrastructure, student strength, total staff and subjects offered at the college.
An august Guard of Honour was presented to the Secretary Higher Education by the NSS Wings of the College under the Command of physical director Dr. Maneer Ahmad.
Commander 104 infantry bragade Paramvir Sing, Islamic Scholar Mufti Sajad-ur-Rehman and Mufti Imtayaz Ahmad was also present on the occasion. (KNS)
