Cluster University students demand result of backlog semester, authorities says 'it will take time'


Srinagar, Aug 26 (KNS): Students of Cluster University Srinagar on Wednesday appealed authorities to declare their 4th semester result whose examination was conducted on June this year.
A delegation of students while talking to KNS said that they had appeared for semester 4th for UG course of Batch 2017 (backlog) examination in June 2020.
“The exam was conducted online in the month of June, 2020 due to pandemic situation”, students said.
They also said several students have applied outside UT Universities for further education where the concern authorities asked for marks sheet of UG courses which we are unable to produce.
“We have applied online for further education in outside universities where they have asked us to upload marks sheets but due to undeclared result we are unable to upload the same”, students said.
They appealed authorities to declare the result soon so that students can pursue their advanced education.
Dr. Khursheed Ahmad Mir, Examination Controller while talking to KNS said that the declaration of result will take some time.
“It will take some time as awards are yet to reach from colleges”, he said. (KNS)
