Kathua, Aug 28 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) youth leader Choudhary Yasir today appealed administration in Kathua to give compensation to the affected families due to heavy rains.
In a statement to KNS, Choudhary Yasir said that the people in rural areas have suffered damages due to the rains and inclement weather condition.
The district administration should make assessment of the damages of properties, crops, agricultural land and roads.
“The administration should send its teams to Bani, Billawar, Basohli, Hiranagar and Kathua to assess the situation and compensate the people accordingly,” demanded Yasir. (KNS)
