Jammu January 07:(KNS) Crime Branch Jammu produced more than 700 pages charge-sheet in second criminal case against accused- Rakesh Singh S/O Kehar Singh R/O Jattan De Kothe, Khour, Distt. Jammu in case FIR No. 04/2020 Section 420, 465, 468, 471, 201 IPC for his involvement in fabricating transfer orders by way of forgery and using it as genuine to cheat Govt. establishments as well as the complainant – Narayan Singh S/O Krishan Singh R/O Manchak Jourian Akhnoor, Physical Education
Teacher Govt. Middle School Chapper, Tehsil Hiranagar, Distt. Kathua and others people and duped them of their hard earned money. Charge-sheet has been produced in the Hon’ble Court of law for Judicial determination.
As per statement issued to “Kashmir News Service” (KNS) reads, the case owes its origin to a written complaint lodged by Addl. Secretary to the Govt. Youth Services & Sports Department, Civil Secretariat J&K, Jammu which revealed that the Directorate of Youth Services & Sports brought it to their notice that a Govt. Order bearing No.146-Edu (YSS) of 2017 dated 26-12-2017, regarding the transfer of one Narayan Singh, Physical Education Teacher, required verification for its authenticity. As per the records, no such order was issued by the Department and the matter was referred to Crime Branch for probe.
On receipt of the complaint, a preliminary verification was initiated by Crime Branch, Jammu and during the course of enquiry the allegations were prima- facie substantiated against the accused, which led to registration of the instant criminal case. During the investigation it has been established that accused Rakesh Singh has committed fraud with the complainant by providing him a copy of fake transfer order, prepared by him and also extracted an amount of Rs. 50,000/- from him, thus causing him wrongful loss and wrongful gain to himself. During investigation it also came to fore that accused Rakesh Singh is a notorious criminal and a “History Sheeter” in P/S Khour & P/S Crime Branch Jammu and is habitual of committing such cheating/frauds with innocent people/youth and multiple FIR’s are already registered against him in various Police Stations i.e. Akhnoor, Khour and Crime Branch Jammu etc.(KNS)
