Kunzer, June 03 (KNS): On the directions of DC Baramulla Dr G N Itoo Sub-divisional Magistrate Gulmarg and Superintending Engineer Hydraulic Circle Baramulla, Sopore today visited Lalpora Kunzer in north Kashmir's Baramulla district

Whereas the team of the officers visited to the village after continuous Complaints regarding irrigation water shortage in the area.

Farmers of village Lalpora said that the village is without irrigation water for last five years for which government is not responding in proper way.

While talking to KNS farmers said that the Canal "Arpath Kanal" in village Lalpora Kunzer was damaged during 2014 floods, since then the farmers are visiting office to Office and no body paying heed towards their plea.

Meanwhile Superintending Engineer hydraulic While talking to KNS News said that the canal is Heavily damaged due to the Erosion and the department is going to find the Permanent solution for the Farmers of the area.

SE said the Stone Crushers are the main reason for the said Erosion, for which department will take Proper action. (KNS)
