Baramulla 01 September :(KNS) Baramulla: North Kashmir Journalist Association and Baramulla Working Journalist Association (BWJA) expressed profound grief and condolence over the sad demise of young journalist Javid Ahmad Malla- Senior Correspondent Rising Kashmir – who dies of massive cardiac arrest at Pattan while travelling to Srinagar Thursday.
A delegation of BWJA and other senior journalists participated in funeral prayers of slain journalist and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
“Javid was a noble soul and sober colleague. He spent early days of career with journalist fraternity in Baramulla. We will remember him always,” said senior journalist and Chairman BWJA Karamat Qayoom.
Working President Baramulla Working Journalist, Anzhar Mohjo said that Baramulla journalist fraternity has lost a great journalist and dynamic personality.
It was heartening it was heartening to learn thatJavid was married five months ago.(KNS)
