Srinagar Nov 26, (KNS)A group of unsuccessful aspirant in BSF, CISF staged a protest here in Border town Tanghdar alleging discrimination with the aspirants of Tanghdar in the selection process and demanded an inquiry into the entire recruitment process
According to Kashmir News Service(KNS) hundreds of aspirants gathered outside the (SDM) Sub Divisional Magistrate office and chanted slogen against the Authorites, protest comes a day after when the BSF recruitment board released merit list of successfull candidates in written examination for constable GD in BSF and CISF , the aspirant alleges that the selection list are full of descrimination, they alleges that in the selection list board have demonstrated a trend of negative discrimination against aspirants from Kupwara district espacially against the aspirants of border town Tanghdar they said that the aspirants from jammu who secored only 35 and 40 thier names are in the merit list but most of aspirant from Tanghdar secured more than 50 marks in the examination but their names are missing from the list, '442 candidates appeared in written examination and only 4 candidates are declared successfull in written exam the rest of the candidates 'merit is murdered'.
The aspirants rquested to DG BSF to probe the matter and and demanded an inquiry into the entire recruitment process.(KNS)
