Bridge completed two months back yet to made functional at Langate village

Handwara, Dec 30 (KNS): Residents of various of village Lanfate town in north Kashmir's Handwara today expressed anguish against PMGSY department sub division Handwara for failing to complete the construction of bridge at Kachroo Langate.

According to Kashmir News Service, the road Kachroo-Unisoo was constructed few years back and the work on the said was almost completed however the filling on the sidelines of bridge has not been done due to unknown circumstances. Due to which Residents of various villages are facing hardships.

Those village who are facing problems are Babaghnd,Yaroo, Lal Buk, Ujroo, and several adjoining villages.

They said that if the road was almost completed by the PMGSY department but the department left the bridge unattended due to which the large number of people are facing inconvenience.

They also alleged that they have notified the issue to concerned officials but no avail so far.

People residing in the area have appealed authorities to direct the concern department to complete the bridge at the short time so that large populace of the particular area will not suffer.

Meanwhile, when Kashmir News Service contacted to concerned Executive Engineer Fayaz Ahmad he said due to recent ban on nallah by the authorities the work on the said road was stopped, he however said that they have wrote to Deputy Commissioner Kupwara to get the material for it, he also added whenever the department will get the permission from DC they will comlleted it.
