Srinagar, May 20 (KNS): Paying rich tributes to the “Shaheed-e-Hurriyat” Ab Gani Lone on his 18th death anniversary Bilal Gani Lone, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Independent Movement (JKPIM) said that the leaders played a conspicuous role for the ongoing movement and for the rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued to KNS, Bilal Lone said Ab Gani Lone has dedicated his life for the sacred cause he said while memorizing Lone sahabs contribution for the ongoing movement, he expressed his hope that their followers and fans shall lead his mission with zeal and zest .
On the occasion of 18th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Hurriyat Khajwa Abdul Gani Lone, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Independent Movement cader and workers expressed gratitude to the people for their continuous love towards Lone Sahab.
A special meeting / Due-e-Magfarat was held at Rawalpora Residence to remember its pioneering leader on his 18th death anniversary and paid rich tributes to the departed leader.
He was a great advocate of peace for people of this entire region and he believed it was the key to its prosperity if both the countries will resolve the Kashmir dispute. Tragically, while pursuing this mission, he sacrificed his life, and Kashmir lost a great visionary and selfless leader.
As a party, we will continue to peruse the mission of my late father for the rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir and urge all the stakeholders to work for the peace and final settlement of the Kashmir issue.

JKPIM Chairman also paid glorious tributes to Shaheed e Milat Mirwaiz Molvi Mohmad Farooq on his 30th Martydom Anniversary, who was the great leader , preacher and religious scholar, whose services in the educational and social upliftment of his people will always be recalled with respect , the statement said (KNS)
