Qalamabad September 12:(KNS) Block development council today met at BHQ Qalamabad under chairperson BDC Mawer Tahir Ahmad, Member secretary Syed Nadeem to discuss the strategy for preparation of plan. In a detailed meeting all members expressed their views & concerns on the occasion. The meeting took place in a favourable atmosphere in which the chairman directed all members to prepare plans by toady through Gram Saba & ensure public importance work should be taken up. Make assets for the public, so that people may feel the difference & ease.

On the occasion the chairman Tahir Ahmad proposes that the two lacs which were given to his office for Covid, will be utilised for purchase for Oxygen cylinders etc , so that in the pandemic poor people will be benighted, which was annamiously pass by the council.

In the meeting sarpanchs were asked to create the assts & forget drains, bunds etc from the allocated 10 lac amount.

An amount of 2640000 were kept for block council to be utilised for the water shortage of Lunda( if the work can be taken up by this amount) or for creation of any asset in the block on the basis of financial feasibility.

The meeting started with the verses of Quranic verses by Molvi Ashraf & concluded by the chairman. All members expressed with sympathy with the Deputy chairperson Mohd Ashraf for the death of his nephew & visited him home Lolab to pay condolence.(KNS)
