BDC chairman Langate assures water supply to be ensured soon in concerned villages

Handwara, Sep 29 (KNS): Block Development Council (BDC) Chairperson Langate on Monday visited several areas facing shortage of drinking water, assured people their genuine issues will be resolved within a shortest period of time.
According to Kashmir News Service, BDC Chairperson Langate Showket Ahmad Pandith, Farooq Ahmad Dar (Pohrupeth), Imtiyaz Ahmad PRI member and Aijaz Ahmad took serious note of the problems of the people of Pohru Chakla area including villages from Khunoo – Unisoo and assured them their issues will be sorted out soon.
Reports said Pandith along with others took extensive tour to various water resources including main stream “Unisoo-Ujroo Khul" to find out the possibility to arrange the drinking water facilities.
Talking to KNS, BDC Chairman Showket Ahmad Pandith said the water shortage problem of the area has brought under the notice of Deputy commissioner Kupwara Anshul Garg who assured the problem will be redressed in coming days. He also added that it was the long pending demand of the people of the area which needs to be resolved on priority basis. (KNS)
