Srinagar, May 14 (KNS): The road that connects several villages to the main town Baramulla is in dilapidated conation as the district administration never paid the attention toward the road leaving large number of population of area to suffer.
According to Kashmir News Service correspondent the 20Km road from Baramulla passing through Katyawali, Gohan, Chandoosa and Shumlarn is slide at many places and potholes are seen after every meter. This bad to condition of the road puts lives of commuters at risk.
"Due to the bad condition of the road it takes us more than one hour to reach Baramulla", said the local residents. During the rains it makes us vulnerable to run our vehicles on this root as many places due to landslides the vehicles skid from the mud", says a local driver Hilal Ahmad.
Residents also said that many roads were repaired but this road was neglected by the authorities deliberately.
Drivers said that the their vehicles area getting damaged to bad conditions of the road and we are putting our lives at risk to run over the dilapidated roads, drivers said
Locals appealed the Baramulla administration to take immediate steps to repair the road at the earliest (KNS)
