Bandipora February 05 (KNS): Acting on specific inputs Bandipora police along with 13 RR and 45 BN CRPF apprehended 03  suspected Millitant associates of proscribed terrorist outfit LET,in a joint operation at Rakhi Hajin and recovered arms, ammunition from their possession which includes 03 live Hand Grenades ,01 AK 47 Magzine and 21 live rounds of AK 47. 

As per the statement issued to KNS, They have been identified as 01. Bashir Ahmed Mir S/o Ab Ahad Mir R/o Rakhi Hajin 02. Irfan Ahmad Bhat @Ifa S/o GH Ahmad Bhat R/o Bonikhan Mohalla Hajin 03. Hilal Ahmad Parray S/o GH Mustaffa Parray R/o Parray Mohalla Hajin. 

On preliminary enquiry, it was revealed that the accused were  associated with Millitant outfit LET and were providing shelter, logistics and other material support to active  Millitant of LET in Sumbal and Hajin area.

In this regard Case FIR No. 10/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered in P/S Hajin and further investigation has been taken up.(KNS)
