Langate, Aug 24(KNS): Resident of Guloora in Langate area of Handwara on Monday complained that the inner link roads in the village look medieval as they have not been macadamised since decades by the authorities.
According to KNS Locals said that Inner link road of Tawheed Abad mohalla ,and Karam Abad mohalla are in bad condition , thereby making people suffer.
The residents said that they brought the issued under the notice of concerned officials several times but nothing has been done to repair them leaving large number of people to suffer

Locals also said that last year authorities carried out some patchwork on Tawheed Abad road but its condition is same as it was 20 years ago. “The authorities carried out minor patchwork and left that mid-way. The road was not macadamized hence the condition of the road became worse. The road is dotted with potholes which speaks volumes about the tall claims of the government,” the residents said.

They have appealed the authorities to macadamize the road at the earliest so that the people of the village will not face the problems ahead (KNS)
