Anantnag, July 21 (KNS): Anantnag Working Journalist Association (AWJA) on Tuesday condoled the sad demise of Peer Ghulam Nabi who breathed his last at SMHS in Srinagar.

The deceased was father of senior journalist Shah Hilal.

In a statement, AWJA President Tassaduq Rashid expressed grief over the demise of Shah Hilal's father and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.

AWJA members also expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and colleague Shah Hilal and prayed for the departed soul.

The contribution of deceased for Islam and uplifting poor through his social work was remembered and underlined.

"Peer Ghulam Nabi shab was one the prominent faces of Dooru Shahabad and his contribution towards Islam will always be remembered," Tassaduq Rashid said. (KNS)
